Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how BucketAtlas processes personal data needed to provide the app. BucketAtlas is built for travel planning and collaboration and is not designed around advertising or cross-app tracking.
Account and Authentication Data
When you create or use an account, BucketAtlas may process your email address, account identifier, and related authentication information needed to sign you in and maintain your session.
User Content
BucketAtlas processes the content you create in the app, including atlas titles, goals, notes, country entries, statuses, activities, cities, and related planning data. If you use the photo feature, BucketAtlas may also process photo files and photo captions.
Collaboration and Invite Data
If you use shared atlases, BucketAtlas may process atlas membership information, invite email addresses, collaboration roles, and records showing whether an invite is pending, accepted, declined, or cancelled.
Supporter Verification
If supporter benefits are available, BucketAtlas may process limited supporter status or entitlement information and may use Ko-fi-related matching information where applicable to verify eligibility for those benefits.
How Data Is Used
BucketAtlas processes personal data to authenticate users, save and sync content, enable collaboration and invites, apply supporter-related limits, protect the service, and troubleshoot reliability or security issues.
Storage and Service Providers
BucketAtlas stores some information locally on your device and uses Supabase as a backend and service provider for authentication, database storage, sync-related processing, and file storage. Some supporter-related verification may also involve Ko-fi where applicable.
Sharing and Disclosure
Shared atlas content is visible to collaborators you invite or authorize through the app. BucketAtlas does not sell personal data and, based on the current app setup, does not use personal data for cross-app advertising tracking.
Retention and Deletion
BucketAtlas keeps personal data for as long as needed to provide the app and support legitimate operational, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup needs. If you request deletion, BucketAtlas will review the request in good faith, but some limited records may need to be retained for a period of time.
Changes
BucketAtlas may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or security changes. If the Privacy Policy is updated, you may be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing to use the app.
